New York City, 1975–present

In my first two years of living in New York I was married to my Leica M3 meaning I carried it with me wherever I went and whatever I did. Which led me to photographing well after midnight at Times Square area as illustrated in one of my favorite images of the red streaks created by a time exposure on a tripod with the marquees reading DEATH JOURNEY and KING KONG. Shadows and forms always intrigued me as illustrated by the series titled Shadow Figures. Window fronts and street vendors were a common theme as illustrated in the mannequins and posters of Alvin Ailey and the Beatles.
